  A Fine Frenzy是由现年二十三岁的Alison Sudol创作的音乐。出生在西雅图的Alison，父母亲是剧场艺术的教师，五岁时跟随著恢復单身的母亲移居到洛杉磯。也许是因為在洛城迁移不定的成长过程，让Alison一头栽进了奇幻文学的世界里，对CS Lewis（纳尼亚传奇作者）、EB White（夏绿蒂的网作者）、Lewis Carroll（爱丽丝梦游仙境作者）和Charles Dickens（孤雏泪作者）等人的作品有著强烈的喜好，这一份热情也影响了她日后的作品。

　　年轻时的Alison也沉浸在古典音乐、摩城音乐的旋律中，喜爱的歌手及乐团包括Aretha Franklin、Swing bands、Ella Fitzgerald、Elton John、Louis Armstrong、The Beatles，而伴随她年少岁月的另外还有彩色电影（绿野仙踪──是好莱坞史上首部彩色电影）和50年代的经典电视影集。

　　在自学钢琴弹奏以后，Alison投入更多的努力将她内在的情感表达在其他的歌曲形式中。她在近来的全球性英国乐团美妙感伤的旋律中找到了慰藉，如：Aqualung、Radiohead、Coldplay和Keane．．．等，并在Philip Glass极简单的音符曲调和冰岛音乐深情的乐音魅力下激发出灵感，Alison创作出了A Fine Frenzy的音乐──如催眠般的钢琴声安排在经典的美式旋律中融合成不可抗拒、自成一格的歌曲，用她浓郁深情的歌声传达到世界每一个角落。
